Your final grade is calculated out of 1000 points, broken up as follows:

| Peer Critique / Self Assessments | 100 |
| Homework (total) | 50 |
| First Midterm Exam | 100 |
| Second Midterm Exam | 100 |
| Final Exam | 100 |
| Total | 1000 |
Your final grade is determined by the following scale:
| A | 930-1000 |
| AB | 880-929 |
| B | 830-879 |
| BC | 780-829 |
| C | 700-779 |
| D | 600-699 | F | 0-599 |
IMPORTANT NOTE: You may be used to a grading system in which 90% is an A, 80% is a B, and so on. That is NOT the grading system used in this class. I recommend that you keep track of your grade during the semeseter using the above points and keep the above grade scale in mind during the semester.
